Monkey In Space Animation

 For a couple of days I have been learning about monkeys. Here is a animation of a monkey going to space. Monkeys are the animal that I chose to learn about out of pandas, monkeys and dinosaurs.

Numerator And Denominator

Latley at school in Mamaku two we have been learning about fractions. The main part of fractions are the Numerator and Demoninator. The poster below will explane what they are.

Made Up Animal Book

 

Lately at School we have been learning how to write a report. Miss Kaye our teatcher shared us a website called Book Creator where we make up an Animal and make an report about it. Above I have made a Screen Castyfuy of me reading the book that I have used Book Creator to create. What I liked about book Creator was that there was so many cool things to do on it. You could be very creative with the made up Animals activety. I made a Animal called the Platydoggopus. It was a Platypus, dog and cat mixed together. What I found hard about it was I have not used it in a long time and I could not remember it all about he website. What I found easy was making the Animal and making facts about it. The Platydoggopus can teleport up to ten meters and it can run up to 25 kms per hour.

My next step learning for writing a report would probably be making it a bit longer and put more detail into it. 

Who Am I

 Today for book character day we have made a poster on google slides on Who am I, so you have to geuse who I am with the clues that I give you.

Bee Poster

 In class we have been making bee posters because they are almost instict because of the lack of plants in some areas, so that might mean that we might not have any fruit.

Imperative Verb Poster

 In our class this week we have been learning how to use imperative or bossy verbs. Here is an exsample of a bossy verb sentance: pour the milk into the cup. Pour is the bossy verb/ imperative verb in that sentance. We had to creative a poster explaining what they are, here is mine.

Facts about space

The further away the sun is from another planet, it get colder and darker.

The reson the Earth can be sunny and warm is beacause the Sun is close to the Earth and maby some other planets. If the Sun was futher away from the Earth the Earth would have no life because if would be so cold. Same if the sun went any closer it would be so hot there would be not life on the Earth.

Minecraft facts

The Endermen language is just English played backwards. 

The Ghasts are voiced by a cat!

Creepers are afraid of ocelots.

You can tell a wolf's health by their tail.

1 block = 1 metre cubed. 

Minecraft was almost called Cave Game.

You can not mine diamond ore with a wood or stone pickaxe.

If you punch a wolf in minecraft survival mode they will attack you.

You can kill the ender dragon with a dirt block same with the wither.

If you look at a enderman in survival mode they will teleport over to you and punch you so you have to try and fight back, make sure you have armor or a shield or they will probably kill you. It is a bad idea to fight the ender dragon with leather armor.

In this past week we have been makeing monsters online. But first we had to make it with paper, then take a photo of it. Then we had to put it on a website where we have to insert the photo of the monster and then we have to label it.

pick-a path

The Mamaku hub has been working on something called a pick-a path. A pick-a path is where you (for example) you get lost in the middle of the woods and you have to try and get yourself out of the woods or try and find the place that you want to go to.  You can also click on little link that leads you to an other part of the pick-a path. The Mamaku hub has been doing our pick-a paths on our Chromebooks. I thought the pick a path was hard because I did not know how to insert the links. I thought the pick a path was easy because I knew how to insert the images into the slide show and inserting text boxes, shapes.

Week 3 goal reflection.

My reading goal is to get at least 2 activities done per day. But it turns out that I got only 2 activities done per week and the rest of my goal is to get at-lest a silver medal per week. If i'm going to get 2 activities done per day I will have to work a lot harder at my reading. For reading next week I will try to do my must dos first.

Tupuanuku guarding outside

Mamaku 3 and Te Hiringa went outside to the garden and planted food because it was matariki.
We met this lady called Eli that was teaching about the garden. She told us that you put the seed as deep as the seed/ how tall the seed is.I really hope the the plants that we planted grows.My group planted onions.Onion seeds are really really really small.After that we all had to plant pumpkin seeds.
Tupuanuku means food from the soil.When we went outside to do the guarding for matariki really really freezing.
